Should my dog have a season before she is neutered?

The best time to neuter female dogs at 6 months old before their first season; at this stage the operation is much easier as the uterus and ovaries, that are removed, have a smaller blood supply (which makes it even safer), dogs weigh less which makes it cheaper, it stops the ordeal of her season to both you and her.
In the past we used to think that if a dog had their first season there was a smaller risk of her developing a rare type of incontinence, but current research has disproved this theory.
