Endoscopy
Endoscopy is a way of viewing the inside of the body using an endoscope. This instrument uses fibre-optic technology and allows the vet to look inside the gastrointestinal tract or respiratory tract. It is less invasive than other surgical procedures.
This technique is used to explain frequent or persistent vomiting or internal bleeding and as well as being used for diagnosis it can also be used for treatment such as removing foreign bodies.
