Terms of business

We operate strictly on the terms of PAYMENT AT THE TIME of treatment.

Payment can be made by:-

  • Cash
  • Most major credit cards – payments can be made over the phone.
  • Please note the Practice             NO LONGER ACCEPTS CHEQUES.
  • Standing order
  • Insurance claims – For further information please see separate sheet for insurance claim procedure.

If finance is a consideration when seeking treatment for your animal: -

Please advise the vet on entry to the consulting room.
An appointment can be booked for the Payment Clinic for discussion of options if future payment poses a problem.
In case of an emergency, credit installments for a maximum term of 4 weeks may be possible dependent upon the circumstances. 4 weeks only being a legal requirement.

Failure to pay your account will result in the debt being handed over to a DEBT COLLECTION AGENCY or to THE COURTS for collection. Once this transfer has taken place you will no longer be considered a client of OAKMOUNT VETERINARY CENTRE and you will have to seek alternative veterinary care for your animal/s.
